Ask Congress to Fully Fund the CDBG and HOME Programs in FY24

We need your help to ensure that CDBG and HOME are fully funded in FY24. On July 12, the House Transportation-HUD (THUD) Subcommittee cut the FY24 funding level for the HOME program by $1 billion — or 67%. This cut, if enacted, will have devastating impacts on affordable housing production. But you can still impact the final funding level for the HOME program by reaching out to your Congressional members. The Senate THUD subcommittee will mark up its FY24 spending bill on July 20 and Congress needs to hear from you now.

If enacted, this cut will MAJORLY impact Denton County services & local plans to bolster affordable housing.
