Educational videos on Service-Enriched Housing now available

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (“TDHCA”) on behalf of the Housing and Health Services Coordination Council (“Council”) announces the availability of 10 educational videos for use as training and technical assistance regarding Service-Enriched Housing. The videos are available at http://goo.gl/cCQG8j.

Service-Enriched Housing is defined as integrated, affordable, and accessible housing that provides residents with the opportunity to receive on-site or off-site health-related and other services and supports that foster independence in living and decision-making for individuals with disabilities and persons who are elderly.

The videos, produced in collaboration with The University of Texas at Austin on behalf of the Council, are designed to provide information about housing and supportive services for people with disabilities and aging Texans, as well as those who work with and advocate for these individuals.
