The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission’s 2-1-1 Texas announce the completion of the Services for Persons with Disabilities Online Clearinghouse.

The Clearinghouse is a free resource designed to provide persons with disabilities and those who serve persons with disabilities with an interactive tool to locate affordable housing and community-based services in their community. The Clearinghouse enables users to conduct searches for affordable housing options and services specific to a city, county or zip code. The search results are composed of existing data on the 2-1-1 Texas database.

The Clearinghouse is available at https://www.211texas.org/211/clearinghouse/main.do (Not viewable with Chrome)

For more information, contact Spencer Duran, Program Coordinator, TDHCA, at (512) 475-1784 or email at, spencer.duran@tdhca.state.tx.us.

The new resource is supported by 100% federal funding through a Real Choice Systems Change Grant, a $330,000 grant, awarded to Texas, through a partnership between TDHCA and the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
